It’s not always easy to know how to get started or more importantly, where, but the prospect of more people falling in love with skateboarding is just one of the many reasons we established Dew Tour in the first place. It’s no wonder every year thousands of people step on a board for the first time hoping to join in on the fun however, many beginners find it difficult to navigate skatepark etiquette and culture. ![]() Weather-permitting, skaters can also show off their skills on the Pop-Up Skate Park which will be outside BEYOND.Īnd if that wasn't enough excitement, a free Vans Waffle machine, packed with sugary waffles, will keep those who've either hit the slopes or are just tired from watching, satisfied.No matter where in the world your skatepark is located, if you’re a skateboarder, you’re a part of a family of freedom seekers who foster and protect their skatepark at all costs. Taking place on Saturday 22nd September, SubJam is 'jam' packed full of activities on the slope, with live music, sweet treats, freestyle boarding all day and there's even a tattoo artist on site, ready to ink up attendees…! In its impressive ten-year history, SubJam has raised more than £55,000 for the incredible work of The Christie, a Manchester based charity that supports the development of cancer prevention, treatment, research and education – and this year hopes to raise even more than ever before! Now in its 11th year, SubJam will hit the Chill Factore slope, for a spectacular snowboarding event that will see a series of seriously fun activities arrive at Manchester's home of adventure, with all donations going directly to The Christie.
